If you are putting a later MGB transmission into an earlier MGB, you need this part.

The all-synchromesh transmissions have the shift lever positioned a few inches farther rearward than the earlier 3-gear synchromesh transmissions.

This Cover is a direct replacement for the original cover, and is longer to fit the later transmission.

Hand made one at a time from fiberglass and polyester resin.

Part comes with 4 threaded metal fasteners properly installed for the shifter bezel. Fastening holes around the perimeter, and the shifter opening are left for the customer to drill/cut.
